Achievements: Migration of majority of Bridgewater site infrastructure from AMERDM domain to D30 as part of a combined Active Directory Consolidation\Windows 7\PC Refresh project (In progress, 95%,complete; scheduled to complete Jan 2013). Managed the project for implementing AkzoNobel IT infrastructure standards including: Unity, WAN\LAN, etc. for newly acquired Ossining, NY bio-research facility. Worked with Desktop Management Team to create a guideline\framework for LAN-based Windows 7 Lab PC images, and implemented several examples into production labs at Bridgewater. Significant upgrades to existing IT network infrastructure, including new CAT6 wiring, WAN upgrades, MDF upgrades, and "Telepresence light" installation. Conversion of the local site managed workplace environment from IBM\ICI Clarity Environment to AkzoNobel\HP Project Unity Environment. Pilot site for North America for Project Unity. Migration of Bridgewater users' default mail environment from Lotus Notes to Microsoft Exchange.

Responsibilities: Performed administrative and support tasks on a business network of approximately seventy computers, ninety users and twenty printers, as well as an industrial process network of approximately twenty computers. Performed troubleshooting and upgrades on computers/network equipment. Provided extensive end user training and assistance in Xpress operating environment.
Achievements: Implemented and managed a help desk system for all Information Services support-related tasks. Performed daily administration of the system, including prioritizing/opening/closing/deleting tickets, creating useful SQL reports of the information, etc. Performed or assisted with upgrades to the site network infrastructure. Replaced network switches, configured network equipment, Industrial Defender firewall implementation between administrative network and process network, and upgrades to cabling. Updated the Information Services Disaster Recovery plan. Numerous procedures were rewritten, added, removed, etc. New emergency repair discs and backup images were created, and outdated copies were destroyed. Set up and administered application and database servers to house network-based applications crucial to site personnel, including: training management, ISO document control, Helpdesk, and license management.

Competed on an extra-curricular team of my peers designed to test proficiency and knowledge in cyber defense. Program consists of real-world security experts breaking into predesigned networks which collegiate students must harden and defend. Team member three separate years. Third year I was captain, and we advanced to the regional competition.
